- In Repeat, type a rule such as
every week, every mon, wed, fri, every 15thorevery last friday. Suggestions appear as you type. Rules you can write - Check the next three dates shown under the field. If they are what you meant, you are done; the row shows a ↻ symbol. Make a task repeat
- For chores that count from when you actually did them, add

When the day comes
- Completing the task records that occurrence and moves the task to the next date. If it was overdue, it jumps to the next date from today, so missed ones do not pile up. Complete, skip or split off one occurrence
- This week’s run is cancelled? Skip (Shift+S) moves on without recording a completion. This week’s meeting is on Thursday instead? This occurrence only (Shift+O) splits it off as a normal task while the series continues. Complete, skip or split off one occurrence
If it does not work
- The rule is not accepted: rules are written in English whatever language you use for dates. Every form is listed in the recurring task rules reference.
- You typed
every mondayin quick add and nothing repeats: that is expected; set Repeat in the task panel. Make a task repeat
