The Home maintenance template imported into OpenTodo

About this template

Some jobs come round only once a season or once a year, which is exactly why they get forgotten. Every task here repeats at its own interval; add a reminder to the ones that need booking a tradesperson.

How to use it

  1. Import the file; every task repeats at its own interval, from monthly to yearly.
  2. Open the ones that need booking a tradesperson and add a reminder a week ahead.
  3. Complete a task when it is done and the next occurrence appears.

Make it yours

  • Delete what your home does not have (no chimney, no garden) and add what it does.
  • Adjust intervals to your climate: gutters more often under trees, less in a flat.
  • Share it with whoever else looks after the house.

Import it in three steps

  1. Download the template file.
  2. In OpenTodo, open Settings, then Data, then Import data.
  3. Choose the file, check the preview, and select Import.

Due dates count from the day the file was published; move them as you like. Importing the same file twice creates nothing new, and an import can be undone. Import formats
