One-line and detailed rows

On this page
Task rows come in two layouts:
- One line (the default): the title, with the date, project, labels, estimate and assignee in columns on the right that give way as the window narrows.
- Detailed: the title (two lines if it needs them), the parent task's name when the parent isn't shown just above, then one line with the date and time, the priority (bars and the letters P1, P2 or P3), the deadline, the start date, the project, the estimate and the assignee, and the labels: as many as fit the row, then +2 for the rest. Hover or focus the labels to read every name. On a phone or with a large text size the line wraps, so nothing is cut off.
The date stays on the row in both layouts. Priority is never shown by colour alone: a one-line row shows the bars (three for priority 1, two for priority 2, one for priority 3) after the title, and screen readers read "Priority 1".
For every list#
Settings › Appearance › Theme and density › Task rows picks the layout of every list: Today, Upcoming, the Inbox, search results and every view, project and label without its own choice. It syncs to your devices.
For one view, project or label#
Display options (the sliders button in the header) of a saved view, a project's list or a label's page has One line and Detailed at the top. The choice is kept for that view, project or label on all your devices and wins over the setting. See Group and order a list and Saved views.
